Natural Resources (Mining)

Ice Miller has a national practice involving the mining industry. We assist our clients with transfers of property and operations when there are questions of contamination or when such transfers are regulated by environment laws. We provide advice on regulatory compliance, interpretation of particular statutes, such as the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act, and assist clients in connection with proposed legislation which may affect their operations or affairs. We also have substantial experience in providing general representation to companies engaged in mining activities, including real estate, business transactions and employee matters.
