Greg May is Of Counsel in Ice Miller’s Government Affairs & Regulatory Law Group, where he advises clients on complex state and federal regulatory matters. He works with clients to navigate evolving legal frameworks and develop practical, business-oriented solutions to regulatory challenges. Greg regularly collaborates across the firm’s Business, Real Estate, Litigation, Intellectual Property, and Workplace Solutions groups to provide comprehensive, integrated counsel.
Greg brings more than 30 years of experience practicing law in Ohio, combined with significant firsthand business leadership experience. He began his legal career focusing on banking law, with an emphasis on creditors’ rights and bankruptcy matters. In addition to his legal practice, Greg spent more than 18 years as the owner and operator of a multi-unit franchise of a nationally recognized restaurant brand. In that capacity, he served on various franchisor and franchisee committees and boards, where he contributed to enterprise-wide initiatives involving operations, risk management, insurance, and marketing.
Greg also co-founded and served as president of a Columbus-based craft beer distributorship, further expanding his experience in regulated industries and complex business operations.
