Circle Block Partners, LLC - Conrad Hotel

Conrad Indianapolis, a project of Circle Block Partners, LLC, was the city’s first five-star hotel. It is one of only 17 Conrad hotels in the world. Located on prime downtown property, the 23-story tower includes 241 guest rooms; 10,000 sq. ft. of state-of-the-art meeting space; 15 private residences; two restaurants (featuring The Capital Grille®); Spa Chakra™ fitness center, and a skybridge to the Artsgarden and Circle Centre Mall. The project came together beginning in 2003 due to cooperation of business and government leaders along with Circle Block Partners, LLC, each with a vision for a luxury hotel in downtown Indianapolis.

Ice Miller was involved from the conception of the project, negotiating the project entitlements and city incentive; providing tax consultation; helping obtain construction, mezzanine and permanent financing; leading negotiations with Hilton International; obtaining tax abatements and liquor licensing, and negotiating the purchase agreements and sales of the condominiums on the building's top floors.

Conrad Indianapolis opened with rave reviews in 2006 and continues to be a destination hotel for thousands of visitors to Indianapolis.
